About Me

Hello! My name is Rogerray Frye. I live in Old Town in the lovely state capital of Lansing, MI and I LOVE it! I've been a photographer and videographer for over 27 years. I enjoy my life thoroughly and live it to the fullest. My motto is Live, Love, and Laugh often. My youngest son, Taylor, works at Liquid Web and really likes his job. Myles, my first born, will graduate this spring with his Bachelors Degree in networking from Saginaw Valley. I am so proud of both my young men. I'm back at college to start a new adventure and let my career flourish for many years to come. I love animals! I have two wonderful cats in my life, Toby and Tabitha. They have been the love of my life since 1999 - unconditional love for 12 years! Benny and Butters just joined the family; they're the NEW cats on the block! They been with us for 3 years. I've been teased I'm the unofficial mayor of Old Town, as I can't help but stop and talk to all my wonderful friends and family here. If you need me for business, I'm confident you'll love my work. If you just want to be friends, I'd love to share that with you too! Cheers! Rogerray

We made it though February snow storm after snow storm

February 2011 was so snowy that it broke the all time record!
They say the farmer almanac was right. Global warming what dam global warming I see no dam warming! Ha! So to say goodbye to the end of the snowy February we went to see the polar plunge out at eagle eye golf course. Us and hundreds of people to see silly people jump into the coldest water you can believe! They where dressed up in all sorts of crazy costumes from the wizard of oz,(Dorothy had a beard and was ugly) to men in tights and speedos! Talk about shrinkage! Crazy I say! It was for a great cause though, special Olympics in our Lansing area. Barbie, Bertlee and myself cheered on one of his long time friends, Roxanne. What a great Sunday.
Monday the last day of February
Well I slept really well and today I decided to call jack to see if he wanted to go to breakfast. We have been emailing back and forth since I met him in Portland on our back road trip to grand rapids on Valentines day weekend.
What a nice guy,and talk about having to check email more often he had said the same thing! I went to Mijos and jack and bill showed up a little after. Bill does a Sports half hour show once a week and jack is enjoying his retirement. Jack wants to become a professional photographer now that he has the time so we have that in common. After breakfast jack invited me over to his house which is right around the corner from Mijos.
Jack has a wonderful retreat right in the city of Lansing. Very well done with vaneashian plaster and decorated to the tea.
Bill says it's hard to get jack out and after seeing his house I can see why. I planned to only stop for a moment and stayed for 3 hrs. It seems me and jack have a lot in common and it's nice to make new friends. I got to see his collection of great photos of grand canyon and arizona plus many other photos.
I helped him install Picasa so he could clean up some of his photos. he had dust on his sensor and looks like it has been there for awhile. It was nice to give some time to a nice guy like Jack. If you don't give time, you miss out on a lot and is that not what being here is all about? Time is everything.

Happy Monday and I look forward to getting to know jack more this year.
